Anchoring Truths from God's Word

Admitting Your Fault

One of the hardest things for some people to do is to admit when they are wrong. Sometimes our pride causes us to not want to admit when we are wrong. It can be easy to try to look for someone else to take the blame; however, if we are walking in the Spirit we should be more than willing to admit when we are in the wrong and ask for forgiveness. When we try to hide our wrongdoing, bitterness will grow in our hearts. It will tear us down spiritually. We must also be sure to confess our sins to God. We want to heal any broken relationships that may have occurred. Sometimes it helps to pray with the person we have done wrong against after we apologize to them. Let’s always remember to make things right and not let our pride get in the way.
