Coming Forth As Gold
The book of Job is about a trial that he went through in his life where he lost everything he loved and owned. Job didn't do anything to deserve this even though his friends accused him of being at fault. Job, through the grace of God, persevered through the trial, and God blessed him tremendously in the end with more possessions than he had before the trial. Job's faith and reliance on God were tested and strengthened during the tribulation. As born again believers, we will go through trials in our life that God allows us to endure because He wants to build our faith. As Job says in this verse that God knows the way we will take, and after the trial, we will come forth as gold. Gold is heated in the fire to remove the impurities out of it. The more it's heated, the more beautiful the metal becomes. God allows us to go through trials in our life to remove the world, evilness, and sin out of our lives and to mold us more into His likeness. Trials are essential in our life to allow us to trust God and make our lives reflect the Lord's goodness. Trust God and have faith in Him when going through a trial because the trials help us become closer to Him and allows our life to be a testimony to others of the peace, joy, and endurance that He gives because of the faith we have in Him.
