Cry Out
Throughout this past week, you may have faced some opposition, or have felt stressed. The psalmist states that he cried unto the Lord, and God heard him. When is the last time you cried out to God for help. God says in Jeremiah 33:3 that if you call unto Him, He will answer you. God wants to be your burden bearer. He says in 1 Peter 5:7, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” God wants to be the person you turn to for help. He wants you to cry out to Him because when we humble ourselves and recognize we need God’s help—that’s when He can do great and mighty things.

Key Verse
In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me. Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. Woe is me, that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
