Living With Purpose

As a captive of Babylon, Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the king's meat. God blessed Daniel for honoring Him even when he was a captive, and everyone was "doing it." Have you purposed in your heart to live for God even when everyone around you is not? It's not always going to be easy to live for God. There may be friends, family, and coworkers who will scoff at you. There will be hard times, trials, and tribulations. How committed are you to God? You will face all these things when you purpose to live for God. However, God will be with and give you the strength, grace, and encouragement to press on. Live with the purpose of glorifying God with your life so that others will see and know God through your testimony.
