Everyone is born once, but a second birth needs to take place to have eternal life. It was once best said, "Those born once will die twice, and those born twice will die once." If you are born again, the second birth, you will not have to experience the second death because God has given you the gift of eternal life. The death in this life is only a transition to the eternal life you will have with Jesus Christ, and the saints, for eternity. God's gift is free, and all you have to do is accept the gift of eternal life that he offers. Don't wait until you are on your death bed to except Him; you may never have that chance. Are you a recipient of God's love? True life is in Jesus Christ. If you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, and trusting only in Him, then God has given you eternal life.
