Luke records an account of a man who was possessed by demons. The people of the town tried to bind and control this man with chains and ropes, but the demons were too strong. This man lived among the tombs; he would cut himself and run around naked. However, Jesus made a point to stop by, heal this man, and rebuke the demons in him. When Jesus came into this man’s life, He changed him. No matter what we may have in our life, whether its bad habits, sin, or anything that is controlling us—Jesus is the answer. Jesus has the power to deliver us, change us, and to redeem us. If you are a child of God, Jesus dwells within you and has control over everything.
