The Promise of Christmas
This Christmas may be different for some this year due to unavoidable circumstances; however, we can still rejoice because of His promise. Man's sin brings much pain, sorrow, and death into our lives, but God's promise toward us was that He would send us His Son to pay our price so that we can have the gift of salvation. He promised that He would come and crush the serpent's head when He gave His life for us on the cross and give us the victory over death. Jesus brought hope into the world when He was born and laid in a manger, and when He laid His life out for us on the cross. We have victory, hope, peace, and joy because of the greatest gift that He gives us. The Christmas season should be a joyful time for us as we remember the promise He gave and kept. We can have victory in our lives because of Jesus Christ, who gives us those victories because of the gift that we received from Him.

And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
